Magnify.net is the leader in creating video-centric online communities. The Magnify Video Platform supports over 100,000+ sites, with over 30+ million video views per month.
Magnify.net supports video discovery, curation and video delivery through a web based platform that includes encoding/transcoding, storage, hosting & CDN delivery.
Users can upload video to their channels using video URLs or by searching for video from the Magnify.net site. Videos are searchable by text, tags or reviews. The approach is different than most video sites that depend on users to upload their own content.
Magnify.net allows channel publishers to set permission for channel viewers, so channel viewers can upload their own relevant videos to the channel. This allows for interaction between website publishers and their readers (or viewers).
Magnify has two ways to acquire their Platform; Pro, & Enterprise. With Pro being targeted at small communities and the small business market, and Enterprise is for large publishers such as New York Magazine, and Mediaite (http://www.videos.mediaite.com).
Competitors include Brightcove, Ooyala, Kaltura, YouTube
